Welcome to the Sasuke Fan Club
Been a long time! =kairi9889 is having some problems with her pc, so I'll be handling the chapter review (=Lightsyde, Submission Manager). Hope your systems gets well soon, ~kairi!!!
The chapter begins with a soaring hawk, an excellent beginning for a chapter that starts with team hawk a.k.a taka. The hawk flies in and reports. Sasuke gives orders accordingly, telling karin to keep an eye on the guards. Perfect job for karin, since she has four eyes - one for enemies, two suigetsu, and the rest for sasuke...
Sasuke hands down orders and the new and temporarily member of team hawk, Skirt-su, err excuse me, Zetsu, looks so surprised that he's going to be in the front-lines. Apparently his tastes for flesh and blood differs along with his dress code.
Danzo casually examines an a message from Sai, which turns out to be 'just an update', and the scene changes to the guardian samurai, who are very busy being very jobless. Good waste of panel, kishi, you sure have style.
Back to team hawk. Suigetsu wants to cut the stealth and get his hands wet, no, frozen, but karin can't help disagreeing. The usual Suigetsu and Karin drama begins until Sasuke tells her to concentrate, acting the leader and refusing to take sides. Hmm, Sasuke rarely voices an opinion these days. Wonder what he's really thinking eh?
Suigetsu and Karin don't exactly stop and Skirt-su is stressing the fact that Sasuke puts up with a lot from them. When was skirt-su this conversational? Then, Sasuke reminds everyone with his words again that his goal is Danzo, and of course, karin reminds skirt-su not to attempt any lies. No worries there, he's only got half a mouth.
Raikage charges in, all muscles and machismo, stops for team Samui and... bingo. He meets Naruto. He seems impressed at first, because Samui is supposedly difficult to track. Supposedly. "Uzumaki Naruto of konohagure wishes to speak with you" Kakashi annouces, secretary style. "please listen to him". The raikage listens, and naruto begins to beg, and beg, and beg. Begging for Sasuke. Man, I know Naruto never gives up, but let's all remember he's also doing this for Sakura and his new beliefs about revenge, so it's to be expected. Naruto goes far for any of his friends after all... like any main character. And it falls on deaf ears. Raikage's an old man after all... and he just lost his brother, and he doesn't know anything about who's begging him, and Raikages are supposed to be tough, and it's really cold and he refused because if he agreed, it would mean more talk and the poor Raikage is shivering. Naruto, you need to take your environments into account! Bottomline - "I will kill Sasuke. It's up to you to make sure it stops there!". Well here's a little wake up call for you, shivering old-man Raikage - Sasuke will kill you first.
A brief Sai scene, and then back to Sasuke! Skirt-su identifies Danzou, and the hatred on Sasuke's face is worth several deviations. Pure rage. So it's pretty much obvious that Sasuke is going to focus on killing only one Kage. If there's one thing Sasuke never loses, it's focus.
