Been a long time! I'll be handling this week's late chapter review (=Lightsyde, Submission Manager). Hope your systems gets well soon, ~kairi!!!

The chapter begins with Gaara redundantly repeating the name of Sasuke's final technique, which is quite rare for him. Next panel has Temari showing surprise also, but I couldn't help smiling when Kankuro noted that Sasuke's always hiding something when he fights. I wonder if that remark is right. I'll have to think about it.

The next panel is veeery amusing, laughable even, the way shi panics and the Raikage actually looks scared. They're huddling together like a couple of scared ladies. Kishimoto, that was a bit too much. It is to be noted though, that Sasuke is definitely stronger than the Raikage. If Gaara hadn't intervened, he would have died. As it stands, he's lost at least 1/4th of his power by losing one arm.

Shout it on the rooftops - Sasuke is grinning! An extremely rare occurence for one whose life is so hard. (^_^) *gleeful rejoicing* let's go to the next page --- with one sweep of his arm, susanoo destroys the pillars (How's that for might, Mr Kerchak? ). You have to realize that he already held the life of two Kage's in his hands at this moment, and he choose to spare them, which means he's definitely not one of the dudes with black cloaks and red clouds...

And so the roof falls, along with Juugo and Suigetsu, and the sands dance, and the roof falls some more... Karin is saved from falling by Susanoo, then thrown behind Sasuke (Seriously, young uchiha, you've got to treat ladies more gently) Already, he can control Susanoo with a great degree of skill, making it appear where he wants...

Sasuke has evidently not lost focus at all, and doesn't waste time asking about his (Danzo's) whereabouts. That he actually choose to leave Suigetsu and Juugo behind though, means that either someone's gotten pretty ruthless, or someone is very confident in his teammates, or the Susanoo and some other types of techniques require a certain level of coldness. Why this theory? Because even though Karin seems to think Sasuke's changed, I wouldn't bet my money on it. When it became time to fight Itachi, Sasuke asked the team to stay behind with Kisame...(too short an explanation, but I don't want to lose focus, since this is a review and not an essay) Plus if Sasuke's really gotten that ruthless, why would the levels of coldness flunctuate throughout the battle?

Kerchak bursts out of the rubble with his trademark explosive force, (*adopts street fighter mid-combat voice* "TIGER UPPERCUT!!") Gaara and the three beside him are safe due to the sand, although I don't think he should've had to raise his arms. The pose looks kinda retarded (*raise arms* "Bring us rain, Oh Kami") *Lightsyde hides from younger brothers wrath* Kankuro makes a comment that reeks of ignorance and underestimation, and the Raikage once again proves he has all the fearlessness and strenght of a Kage by choosing to give chase. You just have to admire that guy. Gaara wonders what Naruto would have done. (a moment that screams "DBZ copying of hero worship!!") Heh.

Suigetsu and Juugo survive. Suigetsu by being water, and Juugo by proving that the author of Twilight choose the wrong main character for the series. Not just blood, but the very substance of the Samurai? Intriguing. I wish I could see a Juugo - only fight for once.

"They're here!" Ao annouces, and all the people in the room search for Sasuke and find him in a totally Ninja position - the roof above. You know, In the whole of the series, there are only a handful of people I consider to be actual Ninjas (Neji and his people, Shino and his people, Gaara, Kakashi, Sasuke, Haku and Zabuza, most of the four ninjas who attacked Konoha with Sora, Sasori, Jiraiya and Orochimaru, Minato and Madara.) most of the rest belong in another Manga. You will never find Naruto in such a position of Stealth and finesse. Sasuke stares at danzo and glares. The Iron Leader attacks very suddenly, (So much for Neutrality.) and both their blades clash, one infused with lightning, the other probably with chakra.

Danzo flees. A Hokage, one who is supposed to be the strongest of the five, running for dear life. A Disgrace to Konoha and to the Kage title. I was torn between the desire to weep and the desire to laugh. Movement on three sides, and Ao annouces that he's leaving to chase Danzo. Is he dumb or what? Didn't Danzo imply a few chapters ago that he fully intended to recover the Byakugan back? Ah well, if he dies, it's no great loss.

Lol Sasuke's new name is "Akatsuki". He tries to give chase, and is forced to stop by a weird Kekkai Gekkai display from the Mizukage, which 'closes the door'. Looks like Sasuke isn't the only revenge-minded soul in the building. The poor uchiha now has to pay for the crimes of his 'forefathers'. Dammit Sasuke, why are you so hard-working?

And that is the review. For my part though, considering what Itachi has been saying about the Mangekyou, I think Sasuke's Susano'o came a little late
